Positively Energized to Get Muddy and Give Back!

They say a picture can tell a thousand words, so get ready for our “longest” blog yet: Team Access has been getting dirty and having fun at muck and mud runs!!

Access New Jersey kicked off June 25th all fresh, clean and ENERGIZED to raise money for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society…at the MuckFest MS FUN Mud Run! The 5K course was full of ridiculously named obstacles and heaps of mud, resulting in a day of pure athletic hilarity.

Before: Looking pristine and excited to start.

The course immediately removed any hopes of staying dry – consider the expectations set!

Talk about remaining Positive: When the going gets tough, the tough smile and give a “thumbs-up.”

Walking on water looks like more fun than trying to keep your feet dry – way to go, Rich!

Jumping onto a giant pillow looks like the perfect way to end this obstacle course…but there’s still more to come!

One last chance to get muddy before crossing the finish line. Keep smiling, you’re almost there.

Congratulations to the entire Team – not only do you look amazing covered in mud, but 100% of the money raised benefits local individuals and families living with MS!
Not to be outdone, Access Washington’s SeaTac and Fife branches joined forces to tackle The Dirty Dash Mud Run that same day, which benefits feedONE, a local charity that provides meals for hungry children around the world.

“Today I Can Do Anything” was the perfect theme for Team Access – we have a feeling that the mud run required a big dose of mental and physical endurance.

We definitely hope those smiles last the entire race – you look great!

Henry Ford once said, “Coming together is a beginning; keeping together is progress; working together is success.” We’d say your teamwork throughout the mud run was a complete success, Team Washington!

Smiles are gone and game faces are on – must be either near the end or facing another large, muddy hill…

…or a large, muddy puddle of fun!

Victory!! Job well done, SeaTac and Fife – you conquered The Dirty Dash and came out looking beautiful!

Participating in these events to support and raise money for local charities is an example of what makes Access “Positively Different.” Mudtastic job, Team!!
