We just released our Summer 2017 Explorer which is once again filled with stories that reflect our commitment to the Three C’s: our Clients, Company and Communities. Our Team Members truly are the backbone of our organization, and we’re so excited to share 10 of our favorite stories from this newsletter!
In 2013, Access and the ARMA International Educational Foundation (AIEF) joined forces to provide RIM practitioners with an opportunity to advance in their careers by pursuing a college degree through the Access Leadership Scholars Program. After three successful years, Access and AIEF renewed the program for an additional three years, committing another $25,000 to be given out in RIM scholarships!
Helping our communities is something we’re all passionate about at Access. Our Kansas City Team assisted the W.E.B. DuBois Learning Center in setting up a brand new library for members of the community. Team Members helped collect donated books from other libraries throughout the area and completed a major cleanup, ensuring that the grounds were safe and ready to be used by children and families.
Leading the charge towards a healthier lifestyle, Team Brazil spent an entire week promoting health and wellness to their Team. Throughout the week, Team Members participated in seminars, activities, and blood pressure and glycemic measurements. An optician and nutritionist even visited to share insights and tips.
Team Members in St. Louis achieved an impressive goal this quarter, making it more than 1,000 days injury free! We’re so proud of them and their efforts to keep the workplace safe each and every day.
Access Indy threw on their leis and whipped up some Hawaiian-inspired treats to welcome CEO Rob Alston to their branch with a luau celebration. We’re sure Rob felt right at home on his visit!
At Access, we’re committed to caring for our environment. Not only did eighteen of our branches host free shredding events this past Earth Day, but several of our Teams went above and beyond.
Our Bellingham Branch set up a temporary greenhouse in their office and planted wildflowers in Access mini boxes to hand out to community members. In Boston, Team Members volunteered at the local YMCA, helping children create an art project out of recycled materials.
Over the years, Team Cincinnati has developed a partnership with the Shared Harvest Foodbank. They recently teamed up with them for the fourth time, stuffing thousands of donor envelopes which were then sent out to raise awareness and help alleviate poverty and hunger.
The Access Team traveled far and wide to attend several conferences over the last few months, including the AIIM Conference, IHRIM Annual Conference, ALA Annual Conference and Expo and PRISM International. Not only do conferences allow our Team to connect with existing customers and colleagues while promoting our brand, but they also are a fantastic way to build awareness and ensure we are seen as a leading records and information management company. Plus, they’re always a lot of fun!
Members of our Nashville Team partnered with the awesome organization, Men of Valor, to create welcome home packages for members of their community who were recently released from prison. Each package contained a variety of snacks, clothing and a gift card to help them begin their next journey in life.
When it comes to work-life balance, our Phoenix Team seems to have the right idea! Team Members had the chance to watch warm-ups and take pictures with the Phoenix Suns before their final home game.
