Archive Management Services acquired

Livermore, CA, January 21, 2014 – Rob Alston, CEO of Access, announced recently the company’s December 30th acquisition of Archive Management Services, located in Phoenix, Arizona. This acquisition is the company’s 62nd since its founding in 2004.

Founded in 1994 by Amina Steblay to, as she stated, “give the client the absolute best service possible and maintain the best technology available in the records management industry,” her company has grown steadily. In a letter to her clients explaining the transition, Steblay explained, “Of all the people I have met in this industry, I truly feel that the Access leadership will best look after the kinships with my clients that I value so much. Now, my husband, Craig, and I are looking forward to retirement.”

The relocation of all the acquired company’s accounts to Access’ Phoenix record center facilities is planned to commence within the next several weeks.

“We are pleased to announce this expansion in Phoenix,” said Access President John Chendo. “This acquisition is representative of our ongoing plan to grow our records and information management business throughout the year ahead and beyond. We are actively seeking companies just like Archive Management Services with owners like Amina who understand the many benefits of working with us. I am personally looking forward to the opportunity to share our vision with those in our industry who are similarly committed to their clients.

Access Branch Manager in Phoenix Woody Colebank and his team will lead the integration of the client accounts from Archive Management Services assisted by Southwestern Regional Vice President Robert Cummings.
