Retaining Records after Disposition
How long do you need to keep information about data that you’ve already disposed of? Susan, John and John were parsing this seemingly contradictory statement. Specifically, they focused on whether its necessary to save metadata stubs and disposal certificates in the event that you have an up-to-date, approved retention schedule coupled with a robust legal/tax hold protocol.
