Access Cleveland recently donated $2,500 to the Greater Cleveland Food Bank for their Harvest for Hunger drive. Joe Nadzam, General Manager, and Ricky Gramuglia, Office Manager, toured the Cleveland Food Bank and presented them with the check, a donation that will create 10,000 meals for the hungry and less fortunate in the local community.
As winners of the “Enterprise of the Year” award, the Cleveland Team chose to donate half of the funds to the drive. To increase their contribution, they also created and competed in the “Slim into Summer” ENERGIZED! weight loss challenge. For every pound lost, Access would make a donation to the food bank.
For three months leading into the summer, and competing in group weigh-ins each week, the Access Cleveland branch was able to lose over 200lbs! Not only did they get healthier and more ENERGIZED!, but the team was proud to have such an impact on so many in their community. Keep up the good work Cleveland!
