Access Recognized for UnitedHealthcare 2016 Well Deserved Award

Every year, UnitedHealthcare recognizes employers that have created a culture of health and well-being in the workplace for a job well done. These organizations are empowering their employees to improve their physical and mental health by implementing physical activity and motivational programs that allow employees to live a healthier life each day. Access is proud to be amongst such inspiring organizations this year, as one of ten Honorable Mention recipients!

This year’s winners are incorporating both health and fun into their daily regimens, hosting onsite self-defense classes, book clubs, wellness challenges and even meditation and stress reduction classes. These creative activities provide employees with the resources needed to improve their health while building friendships with their peers.

At Access, we’re committed to the well-being of all our Team Members, and we empower everyone on our Team to continue reaching towards their very best selves. Through programs like Today I Can Do Anything (TICDA) and ENERGIZED! our Team Members have pushed themselves to achieve their goals and improve on their personal bests. Over the years, our Team has pulled planes for the Special Olympics, got muddy for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, climbed mountains to fight cancer and so much more—and, we’re nowhere close to stopping!

The best part? Not only do Access Team Members participate in fun activities that support our communities and causes we’re passionate about, but we are always cheering each other on! And on top of that, through our ENERGIZED! Rewards program Team Members who are enrolled in any of our medical plans can earn cash for taking their health risk assessment and getting their annual physical. At Access, we support one another and work as a team to pursue our goals and improve our health because we know that, together, we can do anything.

We’ve already got some great ideas to implement in the coming months, and we’re more than ready to keep making our health, and yours, a priority.
