Buried deep below the earth, our underground storage vaults are inherently protected from natural elements as well as man-made disasters. Through state-of-the-art design and construction, our underground facilities can withstand the effects of earthquakes, tornadoes, torrential downpours and other severe weather better than traditional, above-ground vaults.
Thirty-foot-thick limestone walls also make each vault fire-resistant. Our underground vaults are equipped with either gas suppression systems or dry fire suppression systems, which provide protection without as the risk of water damage. We also enforce strict security procedures, including biometric fingerprint security and video surveillance, to monitor your critical records at all times and ensure their protection.
Our underground vaults are regulated for temperature and humidity to keep them at 16.5°C and 50-55% humidity —the ideal climate for maximum conservation.
